ITS Trail Committee 

Meeting minutes

April 4th^th, 2006

Members present:

Poonam Jain, John Fritsche, Russ Masinelli, Larry Leone, Bryan Siegfried, Nelson Grman, Rick Verticchio

Guests: Jere Stiller

Meeting minutes of March 28th, 2006 were approved.

Mr. Verticchio agreed to help with 501 C (3) status attainment by filing for it with the IRS. It was clarified that individuals and corporations donating to the ITS Trail Committee could claim tax-deductibility retrospectively, even if they contributed monies prior to actual attainment of 501 C(3) status by the ITS Trail Committee.

Private landowners along the proposed trail route were discussed and it was decided to keep them informed of all our activities.

Jere Stiller reported on the activities along the Athens to Nilwood section of trails in Illinois.

The next meeting will be held on April 11^th, 2006.
