ITS Trail Committee

June 27th, 2006

Present:

Poonam Jain, John Fritsche, Russ Masinelli, Larry Leone, Nelson Grman

Excused: Bryan Siegfried, Josh Ross, Phyllis Spurney, Bill Napper

Poonam Jain started the meeting by reading meeting minutes from the June 13th meeting which were unanimously approved by all present.

Russ Masinelli reported on the Title search which is 100% complete now. The Committee went over the search and noted all the private landowners identified by the study. Their addresses were noted so a letter of introduction may be sent to each one. The letter was presented by Poonam Jain and approved by the committee.

John Fritsche reported on the parades he has participated in, in Gillespie, Mt. Olive and Marine. Mr. Fritsche has four (4) signs- two advertising the ITS trail Committee, one advertising the Staunton firemen and one with Tour De Donut and Staunton ribfest. Russ Masinelli walked the parade in Worden. At each parade, fans advertising Tour De Donut and ITS web-site were passed out. The committee agreed that the sign is simply wonderful and commended John Fritsche on all his hard work in promoting the mission of our committee. Mr. Fritsche will ride in the Staunton parade on July 2^nd as well.

Poonam Jain reported on the presentation made to the Staunton City Council and how well it was received, its press coverage and Nelson Grman reported that the City Council adopted the resolution of support unanimously.

The presentations to be made to the Benld Council and the County Board in Carlinville were discussed and finalized.

Poonam Jain will forward a copy of the presentation and resolution to John and Larry via e-mail.

The next meeting will be held on July 11^th, 2006.
